![]() ![]() Import 2 jpegs, 3 pngs and set their lengths to 150-200 frames.In the VSE, import 3 mov files (H264, HD, 29.97fps, AAC) and soft-cut a 200 frame section from each (note - another bug encountered is that hard cuts did not work).One student brought their work home after the workshop and tried it on an older Mac OS X Leopard ver 10.8 and Blender 2.79 and was able to successfully render the exercises.Įxact steps for others to reproduce the error I had prepped the course at home on an MSI laptop running Windows 10 and Blender 2.79 and did not have any problems. None of the students were able to render their final videos, and I (the instructor) was not able to either. The center had just installed brand new Macs in the workshop room and had installed Blender 2.79a on each of them. This was during a workshop on Blender given at a local video/media art center to a class of 4 people. (AVI JPEG works but that option does not render audio.) Tried various resolutions, down to 1/4 HD but still does not work. Sometimes nothing renders at all (the entire video is black, no audio). ![]() Sometimes Blender will correctly render the first 1-2 seconds, then the rest of the video will be black. Rendering a video from the VSE using the new FFmpeg option does not work, for any combination of presets and codecs. ![]()
